Welcome to The Swedish Psychoanalytical Society
The Swedish Psychoanalytic Society (SPaF) was founded in 1934. It is a professional society for psychoanalysis, and members of the Society are usually medical doctors or clinical psychologists who have been trained in psychoanalysis at the Swedish Psychoanalytic Institute. The Society can help with referrals for psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. It also pursues research projects related to psychoanalysis, and arranges lectures for the public on psychoanalytic topics.
The Swedish Psychoanalytical Society is affiliated to the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA).
